 Special Issue of ACM Transactions on Management Information Systems on “Workshop on Information Technologies and Systems (WITS) 2018”

Details and Scope
We invite authors of the accepted research papers at the Workshop on Information Technologies and Systems (WITS) 2018 to submit the complete versions of their research to this special issue of ACM Transactions on Management Information Systems. The submitted papers will go through the complete review process, but it will be expedited. While preparing the paper for submission, please make sure to consider all the suggestions provided by the review team for your WITS submission. Please also incorporate the suggestions provided during the WITS presentation.
Review Process
The papers will go through at most two rounds of review. Therefore, if the paper is invited for resubmission after the first round, the authors should attempt to address all the concerns in a satisfactory manner. For the review process, we will bring more reviewers in addition to the program committee member of WITS.

If you decide to submit your paper (which we hope you will), please e-mail you intent of submission by February 15, 2019 to the guest editors. The submission deadline is May 15, 2019.

Please prepare the article following the submission guidelines of the ACM Transactions on Management Information Systems (for details, please refer to Please submit the file online at the Manuscript Central site of the journal (see Please ensure that you select “Special Issue” and specify in your cover letter that the manuscript is for this special issue.

  • Authors will be strongly encouraged to revise and resubmit their papers within three months. Acceptance decision will be made within two review cycles.
